The exclusive dinner will be offered at the Four Seasons Riyadh Kingdom Centre.

Riyadh’s culinary rise shows no sign of slowing. From global heavyweights like Carbone and Zuma to homegrown heroes such as Kurru redefining local cuisine, the Saudi capital is enjoying a serious gastronomic glow-up. And now, another major name is joining the fold. Chef Daniel Boulud is set to introduce Julien, an exclusive new dining concept that will open inside the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre at the end of the month.

Renowned for his mastery of French cuisine, Boulud’s latest venture promises more than just a meal. Julien by Daniel Boulud is positioned as a 10-seat, ultra-intimate chef’s table experience offering an immersive, multi-sensory, fine dining meal. Tucked away behind Café Boulud, guests enter via a discreet passageway flanked by a curated bakery and cellar, before arriving at the sophisticated, softly lit dining enclave that centres around an open kitchen and a striking marble-topped bar.

While Café Boulud already offers elegant indoor and alfresco seating, Julien takes things up a notch, offering what the team describes as “a private front-row seat to culinary artistry.” Every course is prepared before your eyes, blending theatre and technique in real-time. The concept echoes a modern speakeasy for food lovers — stylish, hidden, and highly sought after.

At the helm of Julien’s kitchen is Chef Thierry Motsch, who will execute a refined multi-course tasting menu envisioned by Boulud himself. Though the full menu remains under wraps, guests can expect inspired plates that showcase French finesse with regional influence. Think Sumac Salmon, perhaps a nod to local ingredients, and a few reimagined signatures from Café Boulud’s repertoire, tailored specifically for Riyadh’s discerning diners.

Details on when Julien by Daniel Boulud will open its doors are still under wraps, but expect it to be soon. With only ten seats and a promise of unparalleled exclusivity, Julien is poised to become one of the hardest reservations to land in the Kingdom.
