Al -Qaddiya City has announced its global partnership with the Faldo Series series, which is the world’s leading path for the development of young golf players, in support of golf sport in the Kingdom and at the international level.

Under this partnership, the city of Qadiya will be one of the hosts of the Valdo series championships in the Kingdom, which enhances its position as a regional golf center for the youth category.

Al -Qaddiya also revealed today a new golf stadium consisting of 18 hole with international specifications, designed by the golf legend Sir Nick Valdo, which is scheduled to open to the public in 2026, along with an integrated golf club and a specialized academy that is scheduled to open in 2028, and the stadium is characterized by a number of unique design elements, including the “return after 3 drilling” system that allows greater access to all players.

This step comes as part of the long -term strategic trend; To become the first destination for golf in the Kingdom, by attracting players of different ages and levels, and supporting the next generation of Saudi golf players.

“Our partnership with Sir Nick Valdo is in the design of a new golf stadium, along with our being the international partner of the Valdo series, confirming their commitment to supporting golf and sponsoring the next generation of Saudi golf players.”

For his part, Sir Nick Valdo stressed that this partnership represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of one of the most ambitious and exciting cities in the world, as modern lifestyles are integrated with sport, entertainment and culture in an innovative urban model, and he said: “Cooperation with the Qaddiyah city is the meeting of one of the most prominent sporting societies globally with a vibrant and passionate society to discover new sporting experiences.”

The new stadium will be held in a picturesque natural location, along the towering slopes of Tuwaiq Mountains, which reaches a height of 200 meters, and includes a night lighting to play in the evening hours, and combines the challenge for professional players and ease of amateur accessories, and also provides specialized training programs for beginners and those wishing to develop their skills, within an experience that mixes traditional golf elements and innovative entertainment.

The project will be completed with the construction of an iconic golf club, a training field, and an advanced academy designed by Patterson, which was carefully designed to suit the desert environment, focusing on sustainability and providing the highest international standards in golf.

The club will provide an integrated set of supportive facilities, as well as being an active social and health center for society, which includes physical fitness facilities, well -being centers, social meetings areas, internal and external swimming pools, and a variety of restaurants and cafes, and is expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors annually.
