The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival is not just another sporting event; it’s an annual celebration held at the renowned Janadriyah Camel Race Track in Riyadh, organized by the Saudi Camel Federation.
The inaugural edition, which ran from February 8 to February 18, 2024, saw enthusiastic participation from over 2,000 camel owners, showcasing 6,869 camels from 13 different countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and even the United States.

This year’s event will feature an impressive 224 races spread across five categories. With over SAR 70 million in prize money up for grabs, including SAR 38.3 million dedicated to 204 regular races, the stakes have never been higher. Each regular race boasts a prize pool of SAR 188,000, with winners taking home a minimum of SAR 60,000.
