Design and Features

The exterior design of the car appears almost unchanged, with minor changes to the gloss black front grille, new wheels, and revised LED units in the taillights. The car’s color options have been expanded to include Crystal White, Sparkling Black, and Mineral Green Metallic.

Inside, there’s a larger 15.4-inch touchscreen that includes a new infotainment system that’s faster than before. Designers have also added physical buttons to the steering wheel, making life easier for the driver.

Hybrid Powertrain

The hybrid powertrain has been updated with the latest technology available from parent company Geely. The combined output is 276 hp and 535 Nm of torque, up from 257 hp and 425 Nm of the previous model.

The company hasn’t revealed details, but the SUV is likely to be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine and an electric motor. It said the 01 offers sharper acceleration and more responsive handling.

In addition to the extra power, the new PHEV system is claimed to be more fuel efficient. Average fuel consumption drops from 1 to 0.9 litres/100 kilometres, and average CO2 emissions from 24 to 20 grams/km – at least according to the WLTP cycle. The zero-emission range remains unchanged at 75 kilometres.
