Set to be the first of its kind in the Kingdom and the largest in the region, Aquarabia will be home to many record-breaking water rides, experiences and so much more.

Embracing Qiddiya’s philosophy, Aquarabia will be Saudi’s first home-grown water theme park and will be home to 22 rides and family-friendly water-based experiences. These rides and experiences will include four world-record rides like the world’s tallest water coaster and the tallest drop body slide.
The water theme park will also feature the first underwater adventure ride as well as many water sports like rafting, kayaking and more.
The new attraction is set to complement Qiddiya City’s Six Flags Qiddiya City theme park, with more theme parks to come. Six Flags, which was announced back in 2022, is a thrill park sporting 28 rides and attractions, with five of them breaking world records like Sirocco Tower, the world’s tallest free standing shot tower ride, and Falcons Flight, the world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster which will run parallel to the F1 track.
Aquarabia is set to draw visitors from across the globe for its water, family-friendly fun. It will also be a sustainable project with best practices in water use and waste management, using recycled water and reducing water waste by up to 90 percent while minimising energy consumption.

The water park will be located within Qiddiya City in Saudi. This will be an entirely walkable neighbourhood, where you’ll be able to enjoy other activities as well as have access to many hotels, restaurants and even green oases, all to unwind and recharge between the thrilling rides.

Aquarabia will be home to many attractions and rides that will satisfy all water-lovers. These will include include four world-record breaking rides:

- The world’s tallest drop body slide
- The world’s tallest water slide
- The world’s longest mat racer
The theme park will also be home to the first underwater adventure ride featuring fully submersible cars.
As for the adrenaline-lovers out there, you’ll be able to enjoy the spot through the extreme water sports zone, which will have exciting sports like rafting, kayaking, canyoneering, free solo climbing and cliff jumping, as well as the Kingdom’s first surf pool.
Immersive, narrative-based attractions will also be available for the first time in a water park, the theme focusing on ancient desert wellsprings as well as Qiddiya’s wildlife and oases.
Aquarabia opening dates
While no exact opening date has been revealed, the water theme park is set to be completed in 2025. Six Flags Qiddiya City will also open around the same time, making the two attractions the first to open in the Power of Play city.
